NMN (β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is a precursor to NAD+. It is found in small quantities in natural foods such as avocado, broccoli, and beef. NMN is a core anti-aging supplement which can lead to benefits such as DNA repair, energy boosts, clarity of mind, improved metabolism, improvement of skin condition, and hair growth.

Dosing and storage

Recommended daily dose: up to 1g, can be taken sublingually.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Anti-aging researchers recommend to take an equal dose of Resveratrol and TMG along with your NMN. Resveratrol enhances the effect of NMN and TMG prolongs it. This a cost-effective way of getting the most out of your NMN.

What is NMN?

NMN (β-Nicotinamide mononucleotide) is naturally made from B vitamins in the body, and is a molecule naturally occurring in all life forms. NMN and NR are precursors to NAD+.

NMN is naturally present in various food sources, such as raw beef, fruits, and vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, edamame, cucumbers, avocados, and tomatoes.

Although NMN naturally occurs in many food sources, a study has found that you would need to consume 100kg of broccoli, 69kg of avocado, or 416kg of beef just to obtain 250mg of NMN.

Scientists claim that NMN is more efficient than NR. NMN is also the more stable substance, not as prone to decay as NR.

How does NMN work?

Humans have enzymes that can use NMN to generate NAD+, which has the ability to repair damaged cells and restore DNA information, thus improving our body’s ability co-replicate cells without loss. This, in turn, gives an anti-aging effect, as replicated cells in our body will no longer deteriorate due to loss of information to the same extent, while already degenerated cells will successively be repaired.

Our body’s own production of NAD+ decreases throughout our lives - as we age, the quality of our cell replication deteriorates, which again leads to a deteriorated body and, eventually, organ failure.

NMN can increase our level of NAD+, and thereby reverse this trend. NMN can boost energy levels and endurance. It can improve metabolism, muscle strength, body weight, hair and nail growth, neurological functions (such as sharpness), and gene replication.
