Product overview

Grape Seed Extract is made from wine grape seeds, which are rich in polyphenols. As a supplement, it is used to target venous insufficiency, wound healing, and inflammation. It has also been shown to improve cholesterol levels, and to alleviate the effects of stress on the body and mind. In addition, studies have shown a positive effect of Grape Seed Extract on eye stress, liver health, and in counteracting bone destruction in inflammatory autoimmune arthritis.

Dosing and storage

Recommended daily dose: 0.15g to 2g. Do not exceed.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Grape Seed Extract is generally considered safe, but since it may lower blood pressure, thin blood, and increase blood flow, caution is advised for those taking blood-thinning or blood pressure medication.

Free measuring spoon included. The spoon holds 0.25g Grape Seed Extract and is dishwasher safe. For other products, please note that density may differ and the spoon may hold a different mass.

What is Grape Seed Extract?

Grape Seed Extract is made from the seeds of wine grapes.

Grape Seed Extract is a dietary supplement rich in polyphenols.

The product is taken for various conditions, including venous insufficiency (when veins are not able to effectively send blood from the legs back to the heart), wound healing, and reducing inflammation.

How does Grape Seed Extract work?

Some studies suggest that grape seed extract might help with symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency.

It also might help slightly lower blood pressure in both the healthy and those with high blood pressure, particularly in those who are obese or have metabolic syndrome. Those with high blood pressure should, however, not take high doses of Grape Seed Extract with Vitamin C, as the combination may worsen blood pressure.

A 2019 review of 15 studies involving 825 participants suggested that Grape Seed Extract may help lower levels of LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and the inflammatory marker that is C-reactive Protein. It should be mentioned that the individual studies were small in size, which could affect the interpretation of results.

Grape Seed Extract is rich in polyphenols, which can help reduce the effects of stress on the body and mind. Polyphenols are substances that are found in many plants and have antioxidant activity.

It can also be helpful with eye stress from glare.

Animal studies have shown that Grape Seed Extract may suppress bone destruction in inflammatory autoimmune arthritis.

Some studies suggest that Grape Seed Extract can have a protective effect on our liver.
